Sir. The 550th BG would like to recommend the 31st FG for the Defense Superior Service Medal. The 31st has demonstrated time in and time out, that they can keep our bombes safe and get us to target with a maximum effort. Had it not been for the actions of the 31st FG, the 550th would have not made the impact on the German war machine that it did.
