Bronze Star

Bronze Star award to Smiley for his performance during the Battle of Britain. Smiley had 4 kills claimed and survived every sortie.

Bronze Star with Oak Leaf

LB, Bllxxm(Leo), and Smiley Returned to Base ALL 5 frames. After what we had just gone through this accomplishment really deserves a round of applause.

The large amount of jets we encountered, the long distances we traveled, the chaos of the dogfights, and the horrid defeat of frame 4; these guys survived it all and accomplished their job every sortie.

For reasons pointed out above, 31st Fighter Group Command hereby awards Major LB, 2nd LT. Smiley, and 2nd LT. Bllxxm the Bronze Star. I stand in awe. Well done gentlemen.
